Monkfish with Salad and Lime Vinaigrette

If you are new here and have never read any of the other recipes we have shared of Monkfish, you may have missed our comments on how great this fish is and how good it tastes; and how easy it is to cook – in a hundred ways…Grilling, Frying, baking are the traditional ways but we’re sure you could do much more than that. Poaching is probably fantastic.

Ingredients

For 5 People

Fish

1000 g Salties Monkfish

3 tbsp ground Cumin seeds

2 tbsp ground Coriander seeds

Salt and Pepper

2 tbsp Olive oil

Fresh Salad with Lime Vinaigrette

Salad of your choosing

1/3 cup Olive oil

2 lemons, only the Juice

2 tbsp fresh Oregano, chopped

3 Garlic cloves

1 tbsp Chili, deseeded and chopped

Salt and Pepper

Fish

  1. Mix the Olive oil, Cumin, Coriander, Salt and Pepper in a bowl. Then Rub the mix onto the fish
  2. Grill on the BBQ for 3 min on each side, remember, it has 4 sides. Move to the warm rack and cook for 6 more min on one side

Fresh Salad with Lime Vinaigrette

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Serve it in the bowl next to the Salad so each guest can spread a desired amount of the Vinaigrette.
  2. Enjoy!
