Fried Golden Redfish with Mushrooms, Leek, and Oyster sauce

The Golden Redfish is a slow growing fish that reaches maturity at a relatively late age and can live for many decades. Redfish are unusual among fish species since they carry their young rather than laying eggs. Redfish is not only a nice looking fish, it also tastes fantastic and shockingly; its not red.


For 3-4 People

750 g Salties Golden Redfish fillets

2 cups Mushrooms, sliced

1 Leek, sliced

6 tbsp Oyster sauce

1/4 cup Butter

Olive oil

Salt and Pepper


  1. Fry the leek in the butter until it softens. Add the mushrooms and sprinkle it with salt and pepper and cook well
  2. Mix in the oyster sauce and pour the blend onto a plate
  3. Fry the fish on a hot pan in the Oil for 3 min on each side. Sprinkle with Salt and pepper
  4. Serve with the Oyster sauce mix
