European Ling with Fresh Herbs in White Wine Sauce

“less is more”, “keep it simple” is something you hear all the time. When you have fresh Salties fish in hand, the simpler the dish is, the closer to the delicate taste you are. You can feel its sweet taste on your tongue, you can feel the hint of the pristine North Atlantic, you can taste all the fine and delicate tones that combine to give you this healthy choice, unspoiled, and nutrition filled fish. This dish is simple, its fast, and it will blow your mind.


For 4 People

750 g European Ling Fillets

4-5 tbsp Basil, chopped

4-5 tbsp Estragon

4-5 tbsp Chives

4-5 tbsp Parsley

2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

3/4 cut White wine (not dry)

Salt and Pepper


  1. Blend the basil, estragon, chives, and parsley into the oil and stir
  2. Cut the Ling into equal size pieces and mix in with the Oil and herms so they stick to all sides of the fish. Let it sit for 2 hours in the refrigerator
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F
  4. Put the fish in an oven dish and pour the white wine over the fish
  5. Bake it in the oven for 10 min
  6. Serve the fish in its juice with boiled potatoes, steamed vegetables, lemon wedges, tomatoes, and cucumber
